The course has been interesting and it has enabled me to gain an insight in to popular departments you find within a law firm. I already work within a law firm as a Legal Secretary, but the course has increased my confidence and knowledge, especially as law often overlaps. Maria responded quickly to emails and she was clear in answering any questions I had. I have had quite a busy year, but I have been able to pick it up when it suited me. I do wish I had taken the time to discuss improving my CV, but unfortunately that took a back seat.

A wonderful location in the heart of London

It was a great pleasure to study the Legal Secretaries course. I'm especially happy to have opted to enrol in the evening classes because the course instructor Seamus Ryan made the whole experience even more valuable. Friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, a good bunch of people from all walks of life and a wonderful location in the heart of London. These are the key words I could best describe my experience. I would heartily recommend this course to anyone who is interested in the legal profession.

The course is excellent - so much useful material and information for such a small price. Seamus is an amazing teacher - he can be a complete laugh and is also very approachable. He manages to make the classes relevant to everyday life and has so many stories from his experience as a solicitor. When my friends asked how my classes were going, and I told them they were entertaining, I always get surprised looks as no one expects law to be humerous, but there you go. With Seamus you can't help having a good time. The free tour of the Royal Courts of Justice was amazing too. Also the help I received on my CV. Thanks so much.

I have had a very recent offer of employment

The course has been harder and far more comprehensive than I had anticipated. It is an excellent course and I learnt so much. I would 100% recommend this course

I have really enjoyed doing this course, I am able to do it alongside my hectic, inconsistent work schedule. The course material is very easy to follow and getting help if needed is very easy. As a law graduate and mum of three, I have really enjoyed this course as it's helped me get back into the profession after a long break. I have thoroughly enjoyed the London Evening classes with Seamus at Regent's, he is an excellent teacher and the location in the heart of London is wonderful, especially in the summer! The online resources have been great and have helped me through the online tests and the portfolio. I have already secured a job in Conveyancing

I received my coursework and overall mark back today. I just want to take this opportunity to thank you very much for all your help. I am over the moon as I passed with Merit. I have always had an interest in Law and although I worked in property becoming a Legal Secretary was a career change but a goal I wanted to achieve. I have already secured a job in Conveyancing and my firm have said that they will pay for me to do the single subject course. They are very keen on their Secretaries gaining qualifications which is fantastic. The passion for teaching is clearly visible

Just praising the Evening Class tutor Seamus actually. He is one to remember, the amount of examples/cases he would use to make a student understand is indefinite and the passion for teaching is clearly visible. I opted to come to classes over distance learning just to improve my English pronunciation and Seamus has an accurate style of presenting the subject in English language. I highly recommend this course, I am happy with the knowledge I have gained in a such short period of time, the online membership platform was easy to access and the course assessor Maria Richard always answered my queries within hours. The course advisors and especially the team at the ILSPA Head Office were nothing short of amazing

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time studying this course and learnt so much. The course is precise in the information you require for the role and therefore you do not have to waste time learning things you won't need. The course is extremely accommodating for people with families or other responsibilities. I was able to adapt my working style around my current job and my two children to ensure I had time for everything, so as to relax the everyday pressures of life. My employer was extremely impressed with my final grade of 95% and I have now been offered a fee earning role

I am writing as I just wanted to provide feedback since completing the Advanced Diploma in Civil Litigation in May this year. Firstly, I really enjoyed the course and found it extremely useful to expand on my knowledge picked up whilst working in my current position in a property litigation department. I found the course well set out and studying was manageable whilst working full time. My employer was extremely impressed with my final grade of 95% and I have now been offered a fee earning role whereby I split my time between legal secretarial and paralegal duties (with a monthly target of 40 billable hours). I’d like to thank ILSPA for helping me achieve the next step in my legal career.

The comprehensive nature of the material has made it so worthwhile

I have really enjoyed completing this course - the comprehensive nature of the material has made it so worthwhile. I feel I have learnt so much, not just about the law - as I progressed though the course my word processing skills greatly improved and my gained understanding of producing professional looking documents will be so useful in whatever field I find myself in the future.
