I have already gained employment within a local firm of Solicitors as a secretary

Well, let me start by saying that I have already gained employment within a local firm of Solicitors as a secretary and I believe it is with the help of my employers being aware of my interest in law and taking the option of enrolling myself on a course, that has helped me to obtain this position. I was very grateful for the help that was there on offer from the Institute.

I joined a firm of solicitors as a Legal Secretary

I joined a firm of solicitors as a Legal Secretary in November last year with extensive office experience but no legal background. I have found this course informative and practical to assist with day to day duties. I would also like to add that the Partner whom I work for is also very impressed with the quality of the course material.

My new skills are proving to be of great benefit for my employer

I have found the course to be professionally rewarding and since commencement and by putting knowledge into practice, I have been given more responsibility at work and have secured a performance related increase in salary. I am very pleased that my new skills are proving to be of great benefit for my employer.The course has also been personally rewarding as I have wished for some time to formalise my previous years of office based work experience and attain a universally recognised qualification.
