It has actually inspired me to further continue my studies in law

I have found this course very informative and it has actually inspired me to further continue my studies in law moving onto the GDL. This course has given me a fantastic foundation as it covers the main topics addressed within a law degree ensuring that I have all the relevant knowledge needed when going into a law firm. My course assessor was on hand whenever I had queries and the front of house staff on reception were also very helpful when I was stuck. The course has a really good structure and it provided me with the foundation knowledge before deciding to pursue a career in this field.

The ILSPA course gave me a good grounding in many different areas of law

I had a great pleasure studying at ILSPA. I would recommend the ILSPA course. I am very pleased with my teacher Seamus Ryan who is very professional and friendly. A second great advantage is that it was possible to study as a distance learner at my own pace, which was ideal for someone like me, who was already in employment. The ILSPA course gave me a good grounding in many different areas of law, so I could decide what areas I might like to work in.

I managed to complete it in 5 weeks!

I thoroughly enjoyed this course; it was easy to understand and the documents were well written without too much jargon. I managed to complete it in 5 weeks! It was all I was looking for

I came to the UK with a Law Degree I studied back home. I wanted to understand the English Legal System and start a career here, but I was not able to pay for higher education whatsoever. When I found out about ILSPA, the facility to pay the course by instalments and the brilliant syllabus I was overwhelmed! It was all I was looking for. Also, they were a great support through the lockdown period when it was difficult for me to finish my course on time. As I tell everyone, at this Legal Secretary Diploma they did not only teach me how to be a Secretary, I learnt proper English Law. Thank you ILSPA.

I have been extremely impressed with ILSPA

A well-structured distance learning course that enabled me to fully achieve the learning outcomes I wanted. My word processing skills have greatly improved, and I will be far more confident when undertaking any document preparation in the workplace. My knowledge of law has been refreshed in some areas, and I also covered Wills and Probate and Family Law for the first time. The form filling in Conveyancing was extremely beneficial to me and it will really complement my CILEX Level 3 qualification. This was my first experience of open-book achievement tests, and I found it to be a great way of learning. It certainly got me reading the course material in more detail than I could ever have hoped to cover by my usual way of studying. The coursework was challenging for me, as I have never worked in a secretarial role or wholly legal environment. However, the course material was excellent and guided me through it. The enrolling process worked seamlessly, and I have been extremely impressed with ILSPA. I thoroughly enjoyed the course.

I have found the course content to be fascinating and in-depth

I have really enjoyed studying the ILSPA course. I have not undertaken any studies since I left school 35 years ago so was not sure what to expect. I have found the course content to be fascinating and in-depth. I have always worked as a secretary but now feel I am equipped to take on a role in a legal firm, the course has really boosted my confidence. I have particularly enjoyed Land Law and Conveyancing and would like to pursue further studies in this area whilst seeking employment.

Seamus was just fantastic as a lecturer

I really did not know what to expect from this course when I first enrolled but I am so glad that I did. It provides you with an in-depth knowledge of the units covered and is not only really interesting but challenging too. Seamus was just fantastic as a lecturer, really personable, receptive and knowledgeable and made the course extremely enjoyable and made learning fun. I have been a Legal PA for a number of years and this course still provided me with information and procedures I did not know. I thoroughly and highly recommend this course to anyone considering it. ILSPA are really supportive and respond in a timely manner to all queries no matter how small. So to sum up, great course to undertake, fantastic tutor and amazing support all round.

I am very pleased with the course

I am very pleased with the course as it has given me much insight into the profession of the legal secretary and the procedures concerning Civil Litigation, Conveyancing, Wills and divorce proceedings. The great advantage of this course is that I can commit as much time as I could which gives me the freedom to work it around my life. At this moment in time, I cannot suggest any improvements that need to be made. The careers advice offers useful information on perfecting my skills further and designing cover letters. Though I have yet to secure employment, this may largely be attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic.
