The Khan Partnership is a dynamic practice founded in 2004.  We specialise in tax litigation, company and commercial law and general commercial litigation.  Our clients include high net worth individuals, national and international corporate entities, governments and owner-managed businesses.

We are seeking to recruit a professional, proactive, vibrant, highly experienced and motivated Float Secretary to provide extensive support to our Senior Partner, Partners and Fee Earners across the firm.  This is a permanent position to cover evening support.

Candidates must demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a Float Secretary is highly desirable
  • 60+ wpm copy typing and audio
  • Speed, accuracy and high end attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently build rapport, trust and mutual respect at all levels
  • Good organisational skills, ability to multi task and prioritise a demanding workload
  • Flexibility with regard to working hours as and when required
  • A supportive team player with excellent interpersonal skills who can confidently interact with the administration team and fee earners
  • Ability to use your initiative as you will be working solely in the evenings
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast paced and demanding environment

The working hours are Monday to Thursday, from 11.30pm-7.30pm and Fridays 10.30am-6.30pm (hours are subject to vary in line with the demands of the firm)
