We are looking for a savvy experienced legal secretary to join our busy and growing team. For this role you will need some experience of working in a fast-paced commercial law firm environment, have first class IT skills, an eye for detail, excellent organisation skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will be pleased to hear you can use your brain and there is no audio dictation.
Some key duties will include:
Amending complex legal documents using tracked changes, preparing comparison documents and engrossments
Diary management to include organising meetings, conference calls, meals and social events
Submission of searches using Searchflow
Preparation of completion statements and client bills using excel spread sheets
Preparation and submission of SDLT returns and Land Registry forms using online portals
Responsibility for file maintenance and correspondence
Client Dataroom filing and document bible preparation
General ad-hoc duties (collecting/taking post/DX, scanning, ordering stationery etc)
