Owen Reed is looking for a Legal PA to join the Dispute Resolution team specialising in International Construction for a top international law firm in London.
Hybrid | 3 days in the office, 2 days at home Standard working hours (flexibility required in line with business needs)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Legal PA to join a busy and collaborative International Construction practice within the Dispute Resolution department of a leading global law firm. This Legal PA role sits within a high-performing team that works on complex, international construction and engineering disputes, providing seamless, proactive and high-level support to Partners and fee earners.
The Legal PA will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of fee-earner practices, supporting across diary management, client coordination, financial administration, document production and business development activity within a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Proactively managing diaries for fee earners within the Legal PA Dispute Resolution International Construction team • Coordinating internal and external meetings, including all logistics, materials, travel and venue arrangements • Managing complex international travel arrangements including visas, itineraries, accommodation and expenses • Handling fee-earner inboxes, prioritising urgent matters and ensuring timely responses and filing • Supporting client onboarding, including KYC checks and new matter opening processes • Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders • Drafting, formatting, amending and proofreading complex legal documentation • Coordinating billing processes, financial reporting and Elite 3E administration support • Supporting Business Development activity including events, conferences and client engagement logistics • Undertaking research using online tools, databases and internal systems • Liaising with clients, Counsel, experts and external service providers • Providing team-wide support to other Legal PAs within the Legal PA Dispute Resolution International Construction team • Ensuring accurate electronic filing and maintaining up-to-date BD and financial systems • Supporting bundling of large-scale case materials (electronic and hard copy) • Preparing hyperlinked schedules, exhibits and document threads for case preparation • Attending meetings and producing detailed and accurate minutes
Skills & Experience Required:
• Previous experience as a Legal PA within a Legal PA Dispute Resolution International Construction or similar litigation/disputes environment • Strong experience supporting senior fee earners and Partners in a Legal PA Dispute Resolution International Construction setting • Excellent diary and time management skills within a Legal PA Dispute Resolution International Construction practice • Strong experience in document production and Legal PA Dispute Resolution International Construction case support work • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail • Proactive, resilient and able to work effectively under pressure in a Legal PA Dispute Resolution International Construction environment • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) • Experience with iManage, Elite 3E and related legal systems advantageous
