Owen Reed is looking for a Legal PA to join a Finance practice within a top law firm in London.

Hybrid | 3 days in the office, 2 days from home 9:30am – 5:30pm (flexible in line with business needs)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and highly competent Legal PA to support a busy Finance team within a leading international law firm. This role requires someone who can perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, particularly during financial closing periods, while providing high-quality, client-focused and administrative support to a small group of Partners.

The successful candidate will take full ownership of Partner support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, strong financial coordination, and excellent organisational delivery across all areas of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full diary management, coordinating meetings, travel and daily schedules for Partners • Managing complex financial closing periods, diary conflicts and urgent priorities • Organising travel arrangements including itineraries, accommodation, visas and related logistics • Supporting matter opening processes and multi-party coordination • Preparing presentations and supporting materials, including PowerPoint documents • Coordinating billing processes, WIP tracking and wider financial management activities • Supporting credit control activities, including chasing outstanding invoices • Producing, amending and proofreading complex legal documents with high accuracy • Managing Partner inboxes and prioritising urgent and client-related communication • Maintaining and updating InterAction and supporting business development activity • Coordinating events, meetings and client engagement initiatives • Attending meetings, taking minutes and tracking actions through to completion • Liaising with internal teams including Marketing and BD to support practice objectives • Providing wider team support, including cover during absences and general administration

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience as a Legal PA or Legal Secretary within a law firm • Experience supporting senior stakeholders in a professional services environment • Exposure to finance or billing processes within a legal setting is highly desirable • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Outlook essential; Excel and PowerPoint advantageous) • Excellent written English, grammar and attention to detail • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities • Confident communicator with a proactive and professional approach • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure environments • High level of discretion and confidentiality
