Trade Mark legal Secretary – London

Our client is a highly regarded IP firm with a strong reputation for handling complex contentious and non-contentious trade mark matters. The team works closely with leading solicitors and attorneys on high profile disputes and offers a supportive environment with genuine opportunities for long term development.

The role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Legal Secretary with litigation experience who is looking to transition into Intellectual Property. Although titled Trade Mark Litigation Secretary, the role will suit someone who has supported solicitors in a litigation setting and is confident working with court documents. Previous IP experience is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Supporting solicitors on trade mark litigation matters
• Preparing and formatting court documents and filings
• Managing deadlines and case documentation
• Liaising with courts, counsel and internal stakeholders
• General secretarial and administrative support within the litigation team

Requirements

• Experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within litigation
• Strong experience preparing court documents and handling litigation processes
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• IP experience is beneficial but not required
