Owen Reed is looking for a Junior Legal PA for a top law firm in Cambridge in a 6 months Fixed term contract role.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Legal PA to join a well-established Practice Group Support team. The Junior Legal PA role suits a proactive, organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment and is keen to develop their PA career with structured training and support. As a Junior Legal PA, you will provide high-quality, client-focused support to fee earners while building strong internal and external relationships.
The Role As a Junior Legal PA, you will support an allocated group of stakeholders, delivering efficient, professional and forward-thinking administrative and PA support. The Junior Legal PA role offers exposure to a wide variety of tasks and encourages continuous learning and development.
Key Responsibilities Providing proactive diary management and meeting coordination
Organising in-person and virtual meetings, including logistics and resources
Managing emails, correspondence and telephone enquiries professionally
Acting as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams
Supporting workload management and owning transactional tasks
Assisting with client queries during stakeholder absences
Maintaining accurate electronic and paper filing systems
Preparing and submitting expenses in line with firm procedures
Supporting file opening and closing processes
Using CRM systems to update records, produce reports and conduct research
Providing financial and administrative support in line with firm policies
Assisting with business development follow-ups and marketing activities
Supporting events, meet-and-greet sessions and team initiatives
Covering for colleagues and supporting the wider PA team when required
Embracing technology and process improvements to drive efficiency
Skills & Experience Experience in a similar legal or professional services environment
Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
Confident liaising with senior stakeholders
Client-focused mindset with high attention to detail
Proactive, flexible and willing to support the wider team
Intermediate Microsoft Outlook and Teams skills
Strong team ethic and desire to develop professionally
