Conveyancing Legal Secretary – Leamington Spa
Our client, a Legal 500 recognised and LEXCEL accredited law firm, is seeking a Legal Secretary to support its busy Property Department in Leamington Spa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide audio typing and document production from dictation
- Scan, allocate and manage incoming post electronically
- Maintain and update client files and case management system
- Support the conveyancing process through to post-completion and archiving
- Handle telephone and in-person enquiries from clients and estate agents
- Provide quotes for conveyancing services when required
- Perform general administrative tasks
- Attend departmental and firm-wide meetings
Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous administrative or secretarial experience in a law firm
- Strong typing skills with experience in audio dictation
- Knowledge of residential conveyancing (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent client care and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with case management systems preferred
- Flexible, reliable and a team player
- Willingness to work at other office locations if required
