• Drafting of complex and simple wills
• Tax planning and related advice
• Lasting powers of attorney
• Court of protection work
• Administration of estates and trusts

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the team through general administration
• Dictation/Audio Typing: Accurately transcribe legal documents
• Document Preparation: Complete simple Lasting Powers of Attorney documents
• Administrative Tasks: Manage diaries, emails, and documents
• Microsoft Word: Use advanced features with proficiency
• Basic Accounting: Handle invoicing using templates
• Excel Mastery: Utilise spreadsheets and formulas
• File Management: Open, file, photocopy, request cheques, capture, close, and archive files
• Billing: Run monthly bills and diarise payments
• Post Preparation: Handle DX & post tasks
• Client Meetings: Assist in administering and progressing private client matters face-to-face
• Compliance: Meet all due diligence and regulatory requirements, including ID checks, letters of engagement, conflict checks, and AML regulations

• Legal Background: Experience in a commercial legal environment
• Secretarial Skills: Excellent secretarial and administrative abilities
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Excel and Word
