A top UK Law Firm is looking to hire a new Junior Legal PA to join the Pensions and Corporate team on a permanent basis to provide efficient, client focused professional legal support to Fee-Earners within the team.  The role will be working the hours 9.30am – 5.30pm, 3 days in the office, 2 from home with a salary of up to £31,000 is on offer plus fantastic benefits.

Responsibilities will include handling enquiries from internal and external callers and relaying messages promptly, accessing Fee-Earners’ inboxes and checking voicemails upon request, being proactive to ensure that all typing, document formatting and redaction work is sent with clear instructions and deadlines to our document production (DP) team, preparing presentation slides and materials (sometimes in conjunction with business development (BD)) for internal/external meetings and seminars, maintaining paper and e-filing systems and ensuring they are kept up to date, archiving and retrieving files from storage as required, assisting with diary management, including setting up meetings and conference calls which often involves liaising with reception, room bookings, IT support and facilities, assisting Fee-Earners and the department billing coordinator with all aspects of the billing process as required, assisting Fee-Earners and risk management to obtain and collate client due diligence and assisting in the preparation of client engagement letters,  travel and accommodation arrangements using the firm’s preferred travel agency, updating InterAction, the firm’s internal directory, with client information and meetings, BD events/meetings, travel and business cards, organising smaller BD events such as lunches, dinners and drinks and ensuring these activities are tracked in InterAction and supporting events on larger BD events for the relevant practice area, and potentially helping at the event.

Candidates need to be CILEX qualified, within a minimum of 12 months Administrative experience within a professional services organisation, preferably a law firm, in addition to strong written, communication and organisational skills.  Standard hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm with a salary of up to £31,000 on offer plus excellent benefits.
