An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary (remote) to join a small legal practice specialising in different areas of law, including the areas such as company commercial, immigration, litigation and dispute resolution, family law white collar crime and litigation, but not limited to them.
The role will involve providing assistance and support services for the Legal Team within the practice
Tasks to include
• Assisting with reception and incoming telephone calls, dealing with existing and potential new clients.
• Dealing with the digital case management system to assist the legal team (full training will be provided) and keeping the records up to date
• General administrative support tasks and duties, such as booking legal visits, contacting courts, managing online diary, preparing bundles for court and other purposes etc.
• Bringing all available information from resources
• Drafting documents and letters
• Assistance in relation to billing (training will be provided)
For this role, the candidate must have had experience working within a law firm as a Legal Secretary for at least five years. This is an ever-evolving role, and the nature of duties will develop and alter with the progression of time and the gaining of experience.
The right person for this role will have relevant experience in working within a law firm as a Legal Secretary for at least five years, be an excellent communicator, be a team player and have a "can do" approach.
