Introduction

We are an innovative national law firm and an early pioneer in the new law space,  we now seek an outstanding  PA/office administrator to play an important role in supporting the needs of our team of lawyers in this region.  The right candidate will be customer orientated  with the ability to work calmly when under pressure.

Responsibilities

Working as part of our Excello 360 Support Team, this role is based on our Chester office. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role supporting our team of lawyers and we therefore expect that they will be used to developing a general culture of “customer satisfaction” and delivering a consistently high service.  The responsibilities will include:

Office coordinator

Duties to include management of the Chester office and facilities, dealing with calls, welcoming visitors, arranging local events, making sure the physical environment is kept tidy, managing office service providers such as cleaners, stationery suppliers, copier maintenance, dealing with post, liaising with the building manager, handling health and safety matters, first aid and fire warden duties.

Personal Assistance

Providing personal assistance to the lawyers in the region, including audio typing  correspondence  and legal documents, helping lawyers with the administration of the case management system, financial transactions including time recording, the raising of invoices, general assistant duties such as filing, photocopying and preparing bundles. About You

The successful candidate will have experience of office administration,  ideally in a law firm but this is not essential as training can be provide. The following attributes are required:

  • Office administration experience
  • Good audio  typing skills
  • Experience of  all Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and overall computer literacy
  • Confident communicator both oral and written
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation skills that reflect ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
