We are looking for a secretary to assist predominantly in the Residential Conveyancing Department but to also to assist when necessary in the Commercial Property Department. The post is full time. You will need to have had experience of Residential Conveyancing and some knowledge of Commerical Property would be beneficial but not essential as would knowledge of the DPS practice management system. Training on using DPS will be provided if necessary. Good computer/typing skills with knoweldge of Word are essential. The role includes but is not limited to audio/copy typing and proof reading as we use digital dictation, undertaking administrative duties, arranging appointments and speaking with clients, estate agents and other solicitors, inputing client's confidential information into our case management system as well as completing Land Registry forms etc. We are looking for someone who is hard working, is able to prioritise their work, can work on their own initiative, who is driven to achieve, has an eye for detail and is able to think outside of the box.
