The 2024 PA of the Year Awards hosted by SecsintheCity, the UK’s only dedicated PA and EA job site, were recently held at the prestigious London venue - The Ivy.
Jo Benjamin, EA to a Managing Partner at Baker McKenzie took home the Legal PA of the Year Award for 2024. The evening saw finalists and their peers celebrate the essential support that Personal Assistants, Executive Assistants, Legal Secretaries, and Business Support Professionals have provided to businesses and executives throughout the UK.
The winners of the PA of the Year Awards 2024 are:

Jo Benjamin has been an EA for over twenty years, with her current role being EA to Managing Partner at Baker McKenzie. Jo was nominated for her passion, dedication and responsiveness within her role, with her colleague Sandra noting “through her creative and innovative style, she sees the potential in any situation, enabling collaboration and a truly client centric approach”. Jo has excelled through her charity and fundraising endeavours, where she has organised efforts to raise large sums for Richard House Hospice, Macmillan and Coram Children’s Charity, to name a few.
Following up with Jo after the awards, she said: “This award will set me apart from other PAs in the legal sector. Hopefully, I will also inspire a younger generation of PAs to seize every opportunity – what might start as a small project could become the making of you!”
