The fourth National Paralegal Day, hosted by the National Association of Licensed Paralegals (NALP) took place at the Six Clerks Bar within the Law Society at 113 Chancery Lane, London this week (Monday 11th November).
This year’s winners of the ‘NALP Paralegal Achievement Awards’ were announced on the night.
The winners are:

NALP is a non-profit membership body and the only paralegal body that is recognised as an awarding organisation by Ofqual (the regulator of qualifications in England). Through its Centres around the country, accredited and recognised professional paralegal qualifications are offered for those looking for a career as a paralegal professional.
National Paralegal Day is annual event designed specifically to celebrate the work of paralegals who are often the unsung, unrecognised members of the legal profession. Each year they help thousands of people who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford legal representation. They also support solicitors and their teams to deliver high quality services to clients, and work hard within organisations as diverse as local authorities, Premiership Football Clubs and FTSE100 companies.
As part of the 4th National Paralegal Day celebrations, attendees not only enjoyed the NALP Paralegal Achievement Awards, but took part in a fun networking game - dubbed Meet your Match, ensuring everyone had a chance to meet and make connections, as well as plenty of food, drink and some amazing take-home Goody Bags with gifts from the sponsors and supporters including the Sellick Partnership and Kingsley Napley LLP.
The winning movie for Meet your Match (drawn at random) was "Liar Liar" and the winning matched pair was Lewis from Kingsley Napley LLP and Ivan from Mindful Education. They each received a prize.
