How has life changed for PAs, EAs and other business support professionals in the past year? Take part in SecsintheCity’s annual audience survey to have your say.

2020 was more turbulent and volatile of a year than many others in recent memory, impacting every individual and organisation in unique and often negative ways.

SecsintheCity – the UK’s only specialist business support job board and a trusted partner of the ILSPA – is interested in learning and sharing more about how the events of the past year impacted the lives and livelihoods of PAs, EAs and other business support professionals.

To this end, we are looking for Personal Assistants, Executive Assistants, Office Managers, Legal Secretaries, Administrators and other business support professionals of all levels to tell us the details of their working lives and their experiences of 2020.

We will also ask you about recurring themes and trends identified in previous SecsintheCity audience surveys.

For example, over the past several years we have recorded a steady increase in the number of Assistants who support several bosses but receive lower salaries than their single-support colleagues.

Meanwhile, male representation within the business support profession had been on an upward trajectory in recent years, albeit a slow one. In 2019, 11% of our audience identified as men – a record turnout for us.

Your responses to our annual audience survey will help us determine whether the events of 2020 have reversed or accelerated these trends or if they have had no impact at all, while also allowing us to identify the emergence of new movements.

Fill out our survey today to find out how your profession changed in 2020.
