Job Title: Legal Secretary – Litigation / Dispute Resolution

Salary: £38,000

Location: Central London

Expanding West-End law firm are looking for a legal secretary to join their litigation team. This is a rare opportunity for a legal secretary with only a couple of years’ experience to join a genuinely lovely firm. You will be directly supporting a small team of partners and the work will be commercial litigation.

This is a busy secretarial role but this will also be an opportunity to take on some PA duties as well – diary management, travel organisation, client liaison etc. The successful legal secretary will be dealing with the day to day management of the team’s diary; typing up and composing of general correspondence; document production tasks; billing; booking meetings and managing busy calendars; liaising with clients via the telephone and email; and dealing with any ad hoc administrative duties.

If you have been working for a regional / local firm and are thinking about taking your first position in London, this could be ideal for you as they are very friendly, supportive and will offer full training on all their systems. You must have at least two years’ experience as a litigation legal secretary from another law firm as well as good secretarial skills. Exceptional working environment and a fantastic opportunity for a legal secretary with minimal experience to take on more responsibility in an established London law firm.

McKinlay Law endeavour to contact all successful candidates within 24 hours. However, due to the volume of applications that we receive, we are not able to respond to every candidate individually. If you have not heard from us within 24 hours your application has been unsuccessful and we have not retained your details.
