A reputable firm in York is looking to grow their team with the addition of a Legal Secretary to their family law team.

You should have excellent client care skills, fast and accurate typing skills and excellent admin and PA skills. Due to the nature of the work the ability to work in a confidential manner is critical.

You will not be considered unless you have Legal Secretarial Experience in a Family Law Department.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Audio and copy typing, producing documents for presentations
  • Legal secretarial support
  • Liaising with clients, providing updates and taking accurate messages
  • Dealing with diary management
  • Updating the case management system
  • Chasing invoices and typing bills.

You will need:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Significant legal secretarial expertise within Family law
  • Ability to manage all elements of workflow, demonstrating initiative, enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Highly motivated competent individual able to work on their own initiative
