Proactive and organised Private Client/Court of Protection Legal Secretary sought for a well-established Salisbury firm.

Reporting directly to the lead fee earners, the successful legal secretary will be assisting and supporting fee earners specialising in Court of Protection and private client matters.

Responsibilities
• Assisting and supporting fee earners
• Audio typing
• Use of case management systems
• Diary management and booking appointments
• Managing the filing system
• Photocopying appropriate documentation
• Preparing and completing all necessary forms
• Setting up and archiving files
• Providing business development support including mailing and sending invitations to clients and contacts
• Occasional travel to the firm’s other local offices

The Candidate
• Applications are welcomed from legal secretaries of all levels
• Experience and knowledge of working in a professional services environment providing secretarial support is a key requirement for the role
• Strong IT skills
• Working knowledge of medical terminology would be advantageous
• Driving licence and access to own transport
