Family Law Legal Secretary.
 
This highly regarding law firm is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Legal Secretary to join their family care team based in York, North Yorkshire.
 
It is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious candidate to develop their career in a fast-growing law firm that offers genuine long term opportunities for development. 
 
You will be responsible for: 

• Audio typing all correspondence and documents
• Amending and formatting all complex documents 
• Attending to and liaising with clients both in person and over the phone, providing assistance to the best of your ability 
• Diary management for the fee earners, photocopying and filing, along with opening files on the case management system 
• Providing support to other secretaries and ad hoc secretarial duties to other fee earners.

To be successful in the position you will: 

• Have a good understanding of family and care matters, in particular with monitoring the Legal Aid Certificate aspects of care (this is desirable, not essential) 
• Have an understanding of CCMS and legal aid 
• Be highly experienced in audio and copy typing 
• Have the ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your workload.
