Inhouse Legal PA

We are currently recruiting for a unique position for an experienced legal PA to take a different direction and get more involved with company secretarial work in addition to their legal secretarial duties.

Based in the legal department of an international media and advertising company you will split your time between PA support to the Global Legal Counsel (and team) and working closely with the Company Secretary dealing with Companies House and all the complex coordination and administration behind that.

This will be a busy and varied role, but in a very different environment to that offered by law firms. They are a relaxed, social and incredibly supportive place to work and if the idea of getting away on time every night, free breakfast and working in a dog-friendly office sounds like the change of pace you are looking for then this could be perfect!

Based in the City, in funky modern offices the role will see you involved in everything from diary and international travel management to complex document reformatting, but unlike a traditional legal secretarial role the legal team is very much a team, without the “them and us” feel. And on the Company Secretarial side there will be the opportunity to get fully involved and even the possibility to more involved in the core work of a Company Secretary, if that appeals.

What they are looking for is an experienced commercial legal PA, ideally with experience in corporate law, with a solid CV demonstrating your ability to deliver a first class PA service to senior lawyers.

Excellent IT skills, especially on Word (formatting and manipulating document) and Outlook are essential as is the ability to act independently and work on your own initiative.
