I have very much enjoyed completing the course and have found the staff at the Institute helpful and constructive. Several years ago, I completed a course to be a Legal Secretary at a different organisation but they discouraged me from pursuing a career in this field on the grounds that I am 'overqualified' because I have an arts degree!! I discovered the Institute at the Times Creme Exhibition and was happy to find another opportunity to pursue a career as a Legal Secretary/PA. I have found that the course has provided a good balance between theory and practice and I now feel I have a good basic understanding of law in general and how to construct legal documents.

I am very much hoping to have this time to put my knowledge and skills into practice and I am grateful to the Institute of Legal Secretaries and PAs for their inspiration and help.
